Sonnet Simmons helped thousands of early viewers wake up Tuesday morning as she performed her hit single “You’re So Good For Me” live on “Good Morning Utah” which airs on Salt Lake City affiliate, KSTU FOX 13.
FOX 13’s morning news anchor Kerri Cronk began the segment with a short interview with Sonnet, then Sonnet treated viewers and a small in-studio audience to a taste of a new song from her much-anticipated CD. Later in the broadcast Sonnet returned for an encore performance of “You’re So Good For Me,” made famous by Lagoon Amusement Park’s 2009 advertising campaign. Following the broadcast viewers went to Lagoon’s website in droves to download the popular song.
