The Silky Strains of Sonnet Simmons

DSC_2688-1aWhen LAGOON AMUSEMENT PARK (Salt Lake City, UT) launched their 2009 advertising campaign in mid April, they knew they had something special, but they weren’t prepared for the barrage of phone calls and e-mails inquiring about the song on their commercials, the singer who performed it and where they could go to get it?

The tune, You’re So Good For Me” written and performed by emerging music sensation Sonnet Simmons, has spawned an unprecedented response from the public as illustrated on FOX 13—Salt Lake City’s FOX affiliate Friday May 8th, when Kerri Cronk, FOX 13’s morning news anchor, interviewed Megan Joy, former American Idol contestant.
