Once in a while someone comes along who is not only the right person, but who appears at precisely the right moment in time. That person is Sonnet Simmons, an upcoming musical artist who’s voice is not only equaled by her song writing abilities, but also by her presence. Her song, “You’re So Good For Me,” was chosen for Lagoon Amusement Park’s 2009 television commercial campaign and was so right that her voice blossomed into not only the TV and radio ads, but gave us the idea for a music video using the new song.
The song captures perfectly that childlike moment in time which represents the simplicity and carefree nature of these experiences, and the park provided the perfect background for the music video shoot. Shot using a mix of 24p HD and film, the video will be available in the next few weeks. Lagoon Park receives phone calls and inquiries everyday from people asking who the singer/songwriter is after they see the TV spots or hear the song in the radio ads.
A free download of the song is currently available for a limited time on Lagoon’s website… http://www.lagoonpark.com.
