La Géode in Paris held its 13th annual Large Format Film Festival from January 14 to February 1, 2009 with over 25,000 spectators attending. Prizes were awarded to a number of giant screen films at the festival’s conclusion. “Journey to Mecca: In the Footsteps of Ibn Battuta” received the Public’s Choice Award, which is voted on by festival audiences.
